At Biolectric, we believe our leading technology will help shape the future of the agribusiness and waste sectors by producing renewable energy from local waste. The Biolectric concept was developed in 2009 and the first plant was produced two years later. By 2020, we have already built more than 300 installations in more than 10 European countries, as well as in the United States and Canada.
Anything liquid – with less than 10% dry matter and more than 7% organic dry matter – can be used, as long as it is possible to pump the material. For example: sludge from water treatment plants, pig manure, chicken manure, food industry residues, …
Starting from 80 cows, you generate enough manure (depending on quality) to run a Biolectric Biogas Plant optimally.
This is the ideal scenario, because in this way optimal returns can be achieved. Therefore, working with fresh manure is recommended.
The Biolectric biogas plant is a compact and fast structure to build. In addition, our design of the digester and container allows the installation to be completed in less than 3 days.
Thanks to our fully continuous production line, we have an average delivery time of 4 months.
Maintenance is limited to 15 minutes a day and one hour once a week.
Between 4m³ and 50m³ per day depending on the size of installation and the quality/freshness of your manure.
Manure can also be pumped from a basement. Since manure collection is then done through a slatted floor in a basement, you will need to make more manure available to the plant. This is because of the fact that the quality of the manure will be lower.
Depending on the type of plant, we can distinguish between power type and digester type:
A Biolectric plant converts your emissions of organic waste and methane (CH4) into green energy and heat. The residual waste becomes more fluid and the odor is reduced. In addition, the more liquid fraction is more quickly absorbed by the soil.
The biogas plant automatically pumps a fixed daily volume of manure from the reactor to the digestate storage area and supplements the drained volume with fresh manure from the manure cellar. This process is supervised by the steering and can be monitored online.
Through anaerobic digestion in the reactor, biogas is formed. The biogas is then purified and converted to green energy in the combustion engine. This energy can be used in the form of electricity and heat.
The investment can be recouped quickly.
Installing a Biolectric biogas plant converts your waste and its methane (CH4) into green power and heat that can be reused on the farm or farm.
By creating your own energy, you no longer depend on rising energy prices and keep your fixed costs under control.
Because there is no competition between food and energy, the sun does not always shine, the wind does not always blow and you already have the resources available to you for free, you can produce electricity and heat for free with your local resources. This leads to diversification of your company’s income. Thanks to our unique design, the Biolectric installation is very compact and quick to set up. Moreover, this will not cause any major changes within your company. As a result, you can start producing green energy in a very short period of time.
