What made you look into biogas for the farm?
“We were using a lot of electricity every year, and when prices started going up, it became clear that we needed to find a better solution,” says Will. “We wanted something that could help us reduce costs, but also add value to the farm in a practical way.”

How easy is it to run?
One of the things Will appreciates most is how little time the system needs each day. “I spend about five minutes a day checking the plant and the app. That’s enough to keep an eye on everything and make sure it’s working as it should,” he says.
Why biogas instead of another solution?
Will sees biogas as a reliable fit for farming because it produces energy all day, every day. “Solar has its place, but biogas gives us electricity 24/7, and that makes a big difference for a working farm,” he says.
He also points to the environmental benefits: “It’s a good way to turn manure into energy instead of letting it go to waste. That’s better for the farm and better for the environment.”
Would you recommend it?
“Yes, absolutely,” says Will. “The return on investment is good, the system is low-maintenance, and it gives us something we can rely on. For a farm like ours, it makes a lot of sense.”
